FAQ

What makes Gladiator Finance different from other forks?

Gladiator Finance is a synergistic combination of the Tomb and Wolf Game protocols, on steroids.

Instead of taking the deposit fee as team payment, the team will use that money for further development in the project and associated protocols.

One of the major advantages is that it will be FUN to participate in this protocol. A combination of P2E NFT game mechanics along with an improved Tomb Fork ensures the enjoyment of Gladiators from all parts of crypto.

What long term goals does Gladiator Finance have?

We will always strive to create an amazing community that enjoy high risk, high reward protocols. We will continue to release future phases and build new solutions for YOU.

What kind of burn mechanisms will be in place to help control supply?

Rather than Tomb Finance's traditional bonding mechanism, we instead have created the next advance in Tomb mechanics. By allowing minting of 'under-peg' NFTs with GLAD, which themselves boost future rewards for their holders, we avoid the negative effects of bonding preventing the price rising above the peg (and thus preventing Shares from printing). We also have plans for future phases to include additional mechanisms to decrease available supply, either through staking or 'noding' mechanisms for GLAD holders.

Who is in the team - what are their other projects?

The team consists of 4 shareholders and several advisors and employees.

The lead developer is a senior backend and smart contract developer with over 20 years of professional experience. He owns his own software development company that specializes in developing blockchain projects.

The project manager has a well diversified work experience in the past 10 years: He has worked at a multinational firm, at several small businesses, at a government agency and even at an IT startup that is now valued over $10 million dollars. He then founded his own company that specializes in web development. His company was acquired and he now focuses on building solutions on the blockchain. He owns Fast Food Wolf Game on Polygon.

The community manager is a man that was fortunate to get the best of multiple cultures while working in several areas in the past 25 years, including brand management for a spirits brand. His preciseness and determination ensures that the community always receives up to date information and has fun in our Discord server.

The communications officer has had the fortune to write for multiple different blockchain protocols, acting as the go-between for the above visionaries and the community at large.

Besides the four owners above we have advisors that own different projects across several blockchains.

And since the owners employ software developers, this project has tremendous access to lots of dev firepower.

Are there any plans to do any other type of collabs with projects outside the genesis pool?

Yes. We are looking forward to provide real world utilities to our members, such as free Netflix or Spotify accounts.

I've heard bad things about Tomb Forks. Can you explain?

By moving beyond the original mechanics of Tomb Finance, we allow our project to utilize their fundraising methods to fund further development. In turn, this means that our team can create utility in various new and exciting ways, and we are actively working on such varied projects as allowing you to transact in GLAD (starting in Europe!), adding new phases to the game, creating more layered DeFi protocols that interact with Gladiator Finance, and more!

What is Wolf Game?

Wolf Game forks are inspired by the original Wolf.Game Ethereum NFT game. Our Project Manager owns one, and has improved and continued to develop it beyond the scope of the original game. In the case of Gladiator Finance, this tweak is the whole purpose of the game. Changes and improvements range from the tokenomics all the way through the planned roadmap.

What are NFT games?

NFT games are blockchain based financial protocols, where the users may earn huge returns on their initial investment (usually only the mint fee).

What is minting?

Minting is the term used to describe the process for turning digital files into Non-Fungible Tokens that can be bought using cryptocurrency. Your NFTs are tradable, a store of value and money producing assets.

How much money do I need?

The mint price will start at 0.3 AVAX and gradually increase over time. This means a single mint is currently only ~$9, a price we've chosen to be affordable to everyone. But our larger players may invest up to 222 AVAX. We want to include all Gladiators!

Will I make a return?

We try everything in our power to provide a sustainable ecosystem for our communities, this is also the reason why we hit the floor running with 2 intertwined protocols. However, you need to keep in mind that this is a high risk investment and you may incur significant losses. On the other hand, if you time well and play perfectly, you may multiply your initial investment and even achieve financial freedom.
